Ski Bike Conversion – Piste Ski bikes

I was recently asked to create custom decals for a ski bike build.  This is one cool project.
The basis of this bike was a 2004 Kona Stinky that was re-built, painted and given a new ski kit.

DIY Glass Etching

With some inspiration from the TV Show, “Portlandia,” I took it upon myself to put a bird on something. Visit http://www.putabirdonit.com to see what I mean.
This application can be used on any project.  I’ll be playing around some more with this style of work.  Feel free to ask me if it suites your project.

Step 1 – Get cheap glass jar from dollar store
Step 2 – Create “negative” vinyl decal to act as a stencil.
Step 3 – Use glass etching cream on the jar.  Let the acidic cream eat away at the glass.
Step 4 – Wash cream off with cold water, remove vinyl mask.

Kananaskis Rally – 2011. BetaCuts driver J.C. Bourgeois takes 2nd place.

We are quite proud of J.C. Bourgeois and Matt Vincent’s podium finish at the recent Kananaskis Rally, which took place just West of Calgary, Alberta.

Kenneth Locke Photography – Vinyl print.

We’ve just completed a new piece for Calgary Photographer, Kenneth Locke. The photo originated as one of Kenneth’s originals, which was then digitized and created as a vinyl one-off design. Measurements are roughly 2 feet x 3 1/2 feet. Much time and effort went into the creation. This piece is being silent – auctioned at a fundraiser, October 20th, 2011, at the Broken City Club.
